Dittos! Everyone should read John Muir and take his words about nature and wilderness to heart. He is one of our national treasures. Beautiful picture and post!
It's good for people to look at the beauty of our world and realize that it's worth defending. John Muir was great at translating what he saw into written word that pulls at our souls even now and makes us feel a longing to reconnect with Nature, don'cha think? He's one of my favorites. :)
This picture is awesome. I can feel the fresh air getting into my lungs. I can feel the peace within the forest.
It is only by experiencing this that you can learn to love nature and to protect it . We ARE the forest!
I feel sorry for the ones who never had the chance to be there…
