Dear friends and fellow Zaadzters:
Can you spare 2 minutes?
I've just found out about a quick little thing we can all do to help get the message across to Congress that we want them to do something RIGHT NOW about global warming.
Al Gore is going to testify at a Congressional hearing on March 21st, and he will be hand-delivering postcards from you and me to Congress asking them for immediate action on global warming. I am committed to getting (at least) 10 of my friends to help send the message to Congress, and I'd like to ask you to get ten of your friends to do the same.
The time-table is very tight -- today is March 15th, so we have only 5 days in which to act -- but I have no doubt that we Zaadzters can have a large impact on this action. And, anyway, where are we going to find a more enlightened, caring, effective group of people than here, on Zaadz?
What do you have to do? It's simple, just go to http://algore.com/cards.html and fill in a small form with your email address, name, zip code, and a brief message to Congress asking them to take real action on global warming right now. It'll take you 2 minutes or less, I promise! If you have a couple more minutes to dedicate to the future of our environment, just forward this letter on to your friends asking for their help.

The activism to protect Argentinian forests has had a positive effect so far! And thanks to all your support, my friends! The deputies there have just accepted the law to protect the forests, and now we only need the senators to do the same!
